ver="1.20.4"
cd $HOME
wget "https://golang.org/dl/go$ver.linux-amd64.tar.gz"
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/go
sudo tar -C /usr/local -xzf "go$ver.linux-amd64.tar.gz"
rm "go$ver.linux-amd64.tar.gz"
echo "export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin:$HOME/go/bin" >> ~/.bash_profile
source ~/.bash_profile
go version
Install binary
curl -LO https://github.com/defi-ventures/blockx-node-public-compiled/releases/download/v10.0.0/blockxd
chmod +x blockxd
sudo mv ./blockxd /usr/local/bin
Initialize Node
Please change <MONIKER>
To your own Moniker.
blockxd init $MONIKER --chain-id blockx_50-1
blockxd config chain-id blockx_50-1
blockxd config keyring-backend test
Download Genesis file and addrbook

create service file and start node
Create service file Create a blockxd.service
file in the /etc/systemd/system
folder with the following code. You can change USER
with your Linux user name. You need sudo previlege to do this step.
sudo tee /etc/systemd/system/blockxd.service > /dev/null << EOF
[Unit]
Description=Blockxd node
After=network-online.target
[Service]
User=$USER
ExecStart=$(which blockxd) start --home $HOME/.blockxd
Restart=always
RestartSec=3
LimitNOFILE=65535
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
EOF
- Enable Service and Start Node
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl enable blockxd
systemctl restart blockxd
journalctl -fu blockxd -ocat
